Pre-Trail Nerves

It’s all fun and games until you realize you fly out tomorrow to attempt a 3,100 mile thru-hike of one of the worlds toughest long-distance trails.

Despite the CDT being very remote I am most excited to build community through this hike - with all of you! The outdoors are for everyone in some capacity and they always felt very scary and inaccessible to me before I thru-hiked the AT.

So I invite you to check out my website! It is a work in progress and I have big hopes of using it as an educational resource for folx the way trans athletes @chrismosier and @schuylerbailar have theirs set up (check them out). It’s not there yet but my hope is that you will find something on it that moves you and if nothing else, that you will come with me on this journey and be inspired to chase your dreams too

I will also be a Trail Correspondent on @thetrek podcast! The link to my website is in my bio and you can listen to The Trek’s Trail Correspondent podcast on all streaming services

Please send words of encouragement along the way, as there is ice and snow at the start and this SoCal beach boi is tbqh scared

THANK YOU I LOVE YOU
