Personal Blog
Spending so much time in the middle of the woods affords me a lot of alone time to think about important (and not so important) things. It allows me time to consider the world and my place in it and when I have thoughts, I like to record them.
My ADHD brain causes me to overshare so I'll warn you that this blog is one big overshare. You may feel uncomfortable by the brutal honesty and gory details articulated here but I hope you will also find humor and a mirror to reflect on your own thoughts.
Please know that this is a record of my most intimate, vulnerable thoughts and feelings and often reflect a situation in the moment and do not necessarily represent my enduring thoughts on a topic. These are the unpolished field notes for the journey of my life. Thank you for being here. I love you.
Hiking
You can find my blogs about the various trails and hiking-related topics I've written HERE
LGBTQ Topics
My identity on and off trail is largely defined by being a queer and transgender nonbinary person. I write about this experience a lot for both other trans people to feel seen and heard and for allies to learn. Hopefully my thoughts will help educate and inspire you and you can find blogs about this HERE.
